Shooting Sponsorship

If you've been following us for a while, you know that over the years, we have sponsored several individual competitive shooters in their efforts to grow the shooting sports. In our opinion, growing shooting sports is critically important to preserving the right to bear arms and fosters competent and safe shooters.

Over the past few years, we had the opportunity to help members our military community in very meaningful and moving ways. We hope to do more of that in the future because, frankly, it matters. While these smaller, more personal efforts certainly don't make viral social media pictures, they really have a positive impact on lives. There are several fundraising efforts that are made by organizations that we wholeheartedly support. If you want to make a difference, please check out the ones we've decided to back and consider supporting their efforts. 

Team Defender

There are a number of shooters carrying our flag out in the shooting community. You'll know them when you see them wearing our shirts or jerseys and loading their mags out of a Defender branded box. Team Defender shooters are entirely self-selected; they shot our ammunition and liked it enough to get behind our brand and our company without an incentive. We believe that there are enough "me-first" athletes in the world that get behind a brand just because they're "sponsored". When you see someone wearing our brand and shooting our ammo, it's genuine. 

We do very heavily involve those shooters in our process. They're the first to receive new products to give us their feedback before we even start manufacturing new things. We value their feedback and help support them where we can. We find this has much more value to us than shooters that have no experience with us reaching out for "sponsorship".
