Shooting Sports & Community Support

At Defender, we believe that growing the shooting sports is important to preserving the Second Amendment and building safe, capable, and responsible shooters.

Over the years, we’ve had opportunities to support competitive shooters and members of the firearms community. As our company has grown, however, we’ve become increasingly focused on directing our support toward causes that create a direct and meaningful impact in people’s lives.

Today, our charitable efforts are centered around military-related causes, Gold Star families, and service members facing hardship. We believe these organizations and individuals represent a purpose bigger than marketing, sponsorships, or social media exposure. Supporting those who have sacrificed for this country is part of our “why,” and we want our resources to go where they can truly make a difference.

Because of that, Defender does not sponsor individual shooters, competitive athletes, influencers, or content creators.

We also do not pay people to promote our products or speak positively about our brand. If someone is wearing Defender gear, shooting Defender ammunition, or recommending us online, it’s because they genuinely believe in what we make and what we stand for.

Team Defender

“Team Defender” is not a sponsored shooting team.

The shooters you see representing our brand are customers, competitors, and supporters who independently chose Defender. They buy our ammunition, compete with it, and stand behind it because they trust it — not because they are contractually sponsored or financially compensated.

That same philosophy applies to YouTubers, influencers, and social media personalities. Any praise or recommendation you see is their own opinion, not paid advertising.

From time to time, we may send discounts, swag, or small thank-you items to members of the Defender community who consistently support the brand or tag us in their content. Those gestures are simply a way of showing appreciation — not sponsorships or endorsement deals.
